About the event

You’re showing up every day. You’re carrying more than most people see. And the demands haven’t let up in a long time.

Capacity Under Pressure is a 90-minute, in-person session focused on what sustained pressure actually does to your brain - your executive functioning, your decision-making, your emotional regulation, and your ability to recover. This isn’t a motivational talk. It’s not generic stress management advice. It’s a practical, evidence-aligned session designed for people who are operating in high-demand roles and need real, usable tools, not platitudes.

We’ll look at how pressure erodes capacity over time (often without you noticing), why your brain starts defaulting to the path of least resistance when you’re overloaded, and what you can actually do about it - starting with the body, not just the mind.

You’ll leave with:

•  A clearer understanding of where your capacity is being taxed

•  Body-based techniques to reset your nervous system in under 60 seconds

•  Practical decision-making tools for when your brain is running on fumes

•  Language and frameworks that apply to real work and life conditions

•  A realistic starting point for protecting your capacity over time

This session includes movement, conversation, hands-on activities, and quiet reflection. You will not sit in a chair for 90 minutes listening to someone talk at you.

Who this is for

•  Educators and school-based professionals

•  Health, social service, and frontline workers

•  Managers and team leads

•  Coaches and caregivers operating in high-performance environments

•  Anyone in a role where the work is relentless and recovery feels like a luxury

This session is

•  Practical and non-clinical

•  Evidence-aligned and psychologically informed

•  Designed to respect real-world constraints

•  Interactive, movement-based, and built for adults who learn by doing
